Anak, the Eskimo Boy
by Joanna Tang
Author: Piet Prins
Call No.: BV1475.9 PRI
Anak and his family live with the rest of their Eskimo tribe on the Coronation Gulf near the North Pole. In this book, Anak, the Eskimo Boy, join Anak as he successfully hunts a seal and travels to the land of the “white man” with his father to see and buy many fascinating things unknown to the Eskimos. Read about his adventures when he goes to hunt caribou with the men of his tribe and gets stranded alone on an ice floe that drifts far out to sea when they go walrus hunting. And most importantly, learn to trust God as Anak did when he realised that God is real and that He will answer our prayers and take care of us as He kept Anak safe when he drifted off to sea on the ice floe.
